Genesis 3: 23 - So the Lord God sent them out of the Garden of Eden, where they would have to work the ground from which man had been made.
Story Idea: Watch It!
Ask children if they remember what last week’s lesson was about, prompt them to remember that:
- God created everything, and it was good!
- God created people to know and love Him!

Have the kids watch the following youtube video:

Game Idea: Stop... Go... Slow...
- Download, print and cut out the stop/go/slow signs
- Set up a circle of markers
- Have the kids walk around the markers and hold up a sign while saying the direction (stop = stop, go = go, slow = slow motion)
- The last kid to obey the direction is out
- To make it interesting, give them different ways of moving around (eg. walking, jumping, walking backwards, crawling etc.)

Remind the kids that God gave us directions to help us live the right way. The wrong things we do affect our relationship with God, but thankfully God had planned from the beginning to fix the problem He knew we would create!
Whole Group Craft Display: Snake
Have the kids create a large snake to go on the tree display made by the older group!
Three options to create a snake could be:
- Have them stuff a long stocking with newspaper, then stick on googley eyes, a tongue and decorate with pieces of cut out paper/fabric or paint
- Create a long paper chain snake and allow the kids to decorate their chain pieces with paper cut outs or drawings before they staple them together, then attach googley eyes and a tongue to the face (NB: wider strips give more defined segments)
- Have each child decorate a few toilet rolls and string them together in a long string with a face on one end (googley eyes and tongue)
Drape the snake over the tree made by the older group
